EBI de Água de Pau Students Take Part in Erasmus+ Mobility to Ecole Privée Fieldgen

Under the Erasmus+ programme, a group of nine students and three teachers from EBI de Água de Pau (Azores, Portugal) travelled to Brussels and Luxembourg for a week of cultural, educational and European citizenship enrichment. The mobility included visits to emblematic sites such as the Atomium, the Chocolate Museum and the House of European History, as well as an insightful introduction to the work of the European Parliament. These experiences enabled the group to deepen their understanding of European institutions and Portugal’s role within the EU.

A central highlight of the programme was the two-day visit to École Privée Fieldgen in Luxembourg. Students had the opportunity to attend classes, observe different teaching practices and engage directly with their Luxembourgish peers. This school-based experience promoted intercultural learning, encouraged collaboration and broadened their perspectives on education in a European context. For many, it was the most meaningful and impactful moment of the mobility.

The group also visited the Portuguese Consulate-General, the Portuguese Cultural Centre and the Europa Experience, further strengthening their sense of European identity and active citizenship. Overall, this Erasmus+ mobility offered an invaluable opportunity for growth, learning and cultural exchange, leaving a lasting impression on both students and teachers alike.
